England Under-19s tour of Sri Lanka

Bhanuka hits 2nd successive ton 

 

Skipper Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored his second successive century as the Sri Lanka Under 19 team piled up a formidable 372 for 5 in their first innings on the opening day of their second youth 4 day Test match against the touring England Under 19 team which commenced at the P. Saravanamuttu Oval yesterday.
Rajapaksa hammered a magnificent 129 from 166 balls and shared a third wicket stand of 166 runs along with Yasoda Lanka who remained unbeaten on a splendid 132 inclusive of one six and 16 boundaries.
